Whether an Enterprise or SME, Mapping Your Supply Chain is Essential
10:00-11:00 am PT
Despite numerous supply-chain upheavals inflicted by disasters in the last decade, most companies still found themselves unprepared for the Covid-19 pandemic. In fact, following the outbreak in China, 70% of organizations were still in data collection and assessment mode, manually trying to identify which of their suppliers had a site in the specific locked-down regions of China. The disruption was significant and far-reaching.
In contrast, companies – small to large – that invested in mapping their supply networks, emerged relatively unscathed.
In this session, Resilinc’s CEO, Bindiya Vakil, will discuss supply chain mapping insights in:
- Why supplier network mapping needs to be a top priority for companies of all sizes when it comes to resiliency
- What makes for a successful mapping model, multiple tiers deep
- How technology is playing a role in helping companies map their networks
- Case studies of those organizations who have successfully mapped their networks
